Exercise Regularly

Regular exercising is important for our heart to pump blood efficiently. It lowers blood pressure and consequently improves heart health. Gymming, yoga or even brisk walking for 30 minutes can be helpful. Exercising regularly curbs the production of cortisol hormone in the body. So, if you don't have an active lifestyle, try to have one.

Try to Consume Less Salt in Your Diet

Many studies have shown that sodium has a direct co-relation with heart diseases and high blood pressure. If you're someone who consumes a lot of salt in his/her diet, it's time to cut back from it. Avoid eating processed foods that are loaded with chemicals and excess salt, and make fresh fruits and veggies a part of your daily diet. Along with that, reduce your intake of alcohol and refined carbohydrates aka ‘maida’ food products.

Potassium-rich foods like bananas and vegetables help to reduce pressure on blood vessels.

Quit Smoking

Cigarette smoking becomes one of the main reasons for many diseases along with Hypertension. The chemicals inhaled with tobacco are known for damaging blood vessels. If you want to prevent any heart disease, QUIT YOUR HABIT OF SMOKING TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR 50-YEAR-OLD SELF.

Start Drinking Honey Water Right Away

Add a tablespoon of honey and apple cider vinegar in warm water, and drink it every morning on an empty stomach. It helps in regulating blood pressure and reducing cholesterol.

Watermelon Can Be Helpful

Take pieces of watermelon with cardamom and a little coriander. It's a useful remedy for regulating blood pressure.

Keep Your Stress Under Control

Stress is the number one reason for inducing a heart attack. When you're stressed, your heart rate becomes abnormal & blood vessels become constricted.
