“Google can give us millions of related information, but a teacher gives us true knowledge. Thank you, Sir, for being the best teacher, You’re just not a teacher to me, You’re my best guide.”

Dr. Pretty Kamboj

(Kambopura, Karnal)

Pretty Kamboj was one of my favorite students a few years back. Being a Panchkarma trainer, allows me to train a lot of B.A.M.S. students every year. Teaching young minds about Ayurveda and Panchkarma techniques is one of the best parts of being an Ayurveda expert. The spark that we left in the eyes of young B.A.M.S. students is incomparable; it’s like a conviction to serve as much as possible.

Panchakarma Training

Panchakarma is a process to clean the body of toxic materials left by disease, poor nutrition, and environmental toxins and ayurveda recommends it as a special treatment for maintaining mental & physical hygiene and balance. It’s a detoxifying process with zero side effects whatsoever. Panchkarma is actually comprised of two words i.e. ‘Panch’ means five and ‘karma’ means treatment. It is a very pleasurable and rejuvenating experience for both the body and soul. Due to which it is famous all over the globe. It involves following treatments: -

  1. Daily warm oil massage (Abhyanga)
  2. Herbal Steam Therapy (Swedana)
  3. Lymphatic massage
  4. Herbal Enemas (Basti)
  5. Nasal administrations (Nasya)
  6. Other Special treatments (Go to AyurvedGuru for more information.)

It aims at getting the energetic forces of body Vata, Pitta and Kapha in a harmony and maintaining the balance. It is one of the ancient and profound techniques to reduce toxins which cause diseases and fatigue in the body. Panchakarma massage benefits an individual in the following way: -

  1. calming of body, mind and spirit
  2. cure digestive disorders, prolonged headache or any other chronic pains
  3. strengthen bones and tissues
  4. breakdown impurities
  5. boosts immune system
  6. enhances energy level and mental clarity

Though Panchkarma needs to be done under the supervision of someone experienced; someone who has expertise in this arena. Therefore, we provide Panchkarma training and internships at Ayurved Guru to young B.A.M.S. graduates. We believe in passing the torch of our ancestor’s knowledge to youngsters so that future generations can also benefit from the blessing of this natural detoxifying process.
