About Erectile Dysfunction
Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is the inability to get or keep an erection firm enough to have sexual intercourse. It is also sometimes also referred to as impotence. Impotence is the failure to achieve or maintain an erection. When a man is unable to achieve or sustain erecting it is called erectile dysfunction. Sometimes impotence can be traced back to certain health problems like diabetes, severe depression, or severe reaction to any drug.
What Causes Erectile Dysfunction?
Excessive alcohol drinking and cigarette smoking are also causative factors. Psychological factors are also major causes of it and can be due to a number of reasons including the increased focus on sexual performance in society. This disorder can be very embarrassing and disheartening for both partners and if it continues for a prolonged period the psychological factors involved worsen the situation and can cause an unhealthy aversion to sex.
The potential causes of ED are numerous. They include:

Damage from cancer or surgery
Injuries
Stress
Anxiety
