Do’s and Don’ts

A large number of diseases are  largely preventable, so it’s important to know what you should do to improve your health, as well as what you shouldn’t. Read here what you should take and what you should avoid for the following diseases:

Hypertension

Do’s – Rice, Split Red gram, Wheat, Banana, Orange, Papaya, Grapes, green vegetables and light food like Oatmeal and Porridge.

Don’t:- Avoid oily, spicy and salty foods milk, curd and all things that made from milk, sweets, chicken, meat, dry fruits.

Diarrhea (Atisaar)

Do’s:- Oatmeal and porridge, lentils, Split Red gram, Bottle Gourd, Sabzi of Parwal, whey, goat milk, blackberry fruit, Pomegranate, raw banana.

Don’t:– Peas, Split Bengal gram, Split Black gram, gram flour, wheat flour, fine flour, Cucumber, Raisins, curd, samosa, Kachori, over drinking water.

Constipation

Do’s:- old rice, Split Green gram, Split Red gram, light food (Oatmeal and porridge)

Green veg:- Ridge Gourd, Cucumber, Radish, baby pumpkin, Fruits: papaya, oranges, etc

Don’t:- Fast food like pizza, burger, and noodles. Heavy food:- Beans lentils, Split Black gram, banana, potato etc.

Leprosy (kushth)

Do’s:- light food – Oatmeal and porridge, Split Green gram, Split Red Lentil, wheat

Cow urine, old ghee, neem , turmeric, bitter gourd, Garlic

Don’t:- opposite food like- fish with milk, spicy food, creamy food and cold water with food, milk, curd, Radish

Hyperacidity (Amlapitta)

Do’s- Split Green gram, Split Bengal gram like thin soup type, honey, milk, boiled water

Green veg: bitter gourd, Ash Gourd, many times cold milk

Don’t:- Red Kidney Beans, Split Black gram, salted food, spicy food, tea, coffee, cold drinks, Potato, Brinjal etc, smoking and alcohol.

Psoriasis (kitibh)

Do’s- Light food- Oatmeal and porridge, Split Green gram, Split Red Lentil, wheat, cow urine, neem, turmeric, amla, bitter gourd, Garlic, mustard oil.

Don’t:- opposite food like- fish with milk, spicy food, creamy food and cold water with food, milk, curd, Radish etc.

Urticaria (Sheetpitta)

Do’s:- Light food- Oatmeal and porridge, Split Green gram, Split Red Lentil, wheat, cow urine, neem, turmeric, amla, bitter gourd, Garlic, mustard oil.

Don’t:- Opposite food like- fish with milk, spicy food, creamy food and cold water with food, milk, curd, radish etc.
